what is the difference between the Home Care membership versus office care membership package?
The Home Care membership package provides at-home care during business hours in the available zip codes (90274, 90275, 90277, 90505) for clients approved by Dr. Whitney. The Office Care membership package does not include at-home care.
Both memberships include in-office visits during business hours as well as 24/7 access to telehealth care for children under 21 years of age for 12 months.
Would you be my kids primary doctor?
Yes! We will do annual physicals based on the routine schedule as well as same day urgent care visits at your home or in the office.
are there any other fees beside the annual membership?
Your Membership fee does not cover financial responsibilities typically covered by your insurance. Concierge medicine does not cover your insurance plans. The Membership fee does not cover co-pays for visits and standard healthcare costs. Additional costs for advanced physical tests and screenings may be required. At-Home Care or In-Office after hours may require an additional fee if outside routine office hours.
Do you offer vaccines?
We are a vaccine-friendly practice. Dr. Whitney believes that every family deserves thorough, informed discussions about the benefits and risks of vaccines. Vaccine decisions are personalized, and we work with each family to develop a plan that reflects their choices and the needs of their child. Families who choose not to vaccinate are welcome. Medical exemptions are provided only when legally indicated.
do you accept ppo vs hmo insurance?
We only accept PPO insurance at this time.
